Key points
- IT-Label opens the Knowledge Community: a closed space in the partner portal where partners ask each other questions and help each other.
- It has three parts: knowledge questions, requests and offers, and updates on laws and regulations.
- No question is left unanswered: if nobody replies within two working days, the IT-Label team answers.
- The Knowledge Community is a next step in the IT-Label ecosystem: the stronger the partners, the more reliable IT-Label is for the entire real estate chain.
- IT-Label invites more partners to join: inspectors, IT companies, installers and consultants.
Anyone who inspects or certifies a building, or gives advice on its digital infrastructure, sooner or later runs into the same questions as a colleague. How do you measure the Wi-Fi in an open-plan office? Which documents do you request for a Digital Due Diligence? What do you tell an owner who asks whether the Dutch Cybersecurity Act applies to them?
Until now, each partner figured this out on their own, or called IT-Label. The knowledge then stayed with one person. That is why IT-Label today opens the Knowledge Community: a place where partners help each other and where knowledge stays.
What is the Knowledge Community?
The Knowledge Community is in the closed IT-Label partner portal. Only partners and the IT-Label team can read along. It has three parts:
- Knowledge questions. Partners ask questions about the pre-inspection, certification, Digital Due Diligence, IT in buildings or their clients. Other partners and the IT-Label team answer. The best answer is saved, so the next person with the same question finds it right away.
- Requests and offers. One partner is looking for a fibre installer in a region, another has capacity for an inspection or measuring equipment to lend. With a short message, partners find each other within the network.
- News and regulations. The IT-Label team posts updates on laws, rules and subsidies, such as the Dutch Cybersecurity Act and the Mijn Cyberweerbare Zaak subsidy. Each update explains what it means for partners and their clients.
One partner's question is often an answer another already has. That makes everyone better.
No question is left unanswered
A community only works if questions get an answer. That is why IT-Label makes a promise: if nobody replies to a question within two working days, the IT-Label team gives an answer.
Confidentiality is also well arranged. Partners do not share client names, addresses or prices. Leads that IT-Label shares are not resold. And the team keeps an eye on the tone and steps in when needed.
A next step in the IT-Label ecosystem
IT-Label is more than a label. It is an ecosystem for the real estate chain: owners, tenants, real estate agents, developers, installers, IT partners and inspectors work with one method and one language. Together they make visible what is now invisible in buildings, and they make buildings smarter and safer.
Partners play a key role in that ecosystem. They carry out the inspections, advise owners and tenants, and install the connections that everything depends on. The better they do their work, the more IT-Label is worth to the entire chain.
That is why IT-Label invests in its partners. Certified Partners are trained through the IT-Label Academy and work with playbooks for every service, their own CRM and materials for their marketing. The Knowledge Community adds a place where all partners learn from each other. And what partners come across in practice helps the knowledge collective keep the method up to date.

Request IT-labelInvitation: become a partner and join
The network is growing, and that is necessary. More and more owners and tenants want to know what their building is worth digitally. That is why we invite more partners to help build:
- Inspectors and auditors who want to carry out pre-inspections, certifications and Digital Due Diligence as a Certified Partner;
- IT companies and network specialists who help buildings and tenants with connections, Wi-Fi and security;
- Installers who install and improve fibre, cabling and technical rooms;
- Consultants in real estate, facility management and IT who want to help their clients further.
As a partner, you get access to the partner portal and the Knowledge Community, you become visible in the partner overviews and you work with one method that the entire chain understands.
