IT-Label pre-inspection
Find out quickly and for a fixed fee where a space or building stands digitally. A Certified Partner visits the site and delivers an indicative report with an estimated delivery level.
What is a pre-inspection?
A pre-inspection is a general on-site assessment of the digital infrastructure: the connection, the cabling, the technical rooms, the WiFi and the building systems. The partner looks at what is there, how it has been installed and what that means for a user.
The result is an indicative report with an estimate of the IT delivery level, the strengths and the points of attention. Afterwards you know whether a space fits what you need, and what still has to be done to reach a higher level.
A pre-inspection is explicitly not an official IT-Label assessment and does not lead to a certificate. For that, the IT-Label certification is the process. Request a pre-inspection now.
For a whole building or a leased unit
A pre-inspection can cover the whole building, or just a leased part: a floor, a wing or one specific unit. You indicate this when requesting; the fee applies per location.

Request
You fill in the form at the bottom of this page with the address of the space and your contact details.
Quotation and appointment
A Certified Partner gets in touch, sends a quotation that you approve online and schedules the inspection.
On-site inspection
The partner walks through the space: connection, cabling, technical rooms, WiFi and building systems. Usually within half a day.
Indicative report
You receive a report with an estimated delivery level, the findings per component and recommendations for a next step.
What is examined?
- Connection Which connection enters the property, from which provider and how far it runs: to the meter cupboard or into the space. Read more about fibre optic in buildings.
- Cabling and technical rooms The condition of the patch cabinet, the cabling to the workstations and the space for your own equipment.
- WiFi Presence, coverage and whether the network is designed for the number of users. See WiFi coverage.
- Building systems Access control, climate control and other Smart Building facilities, and whether they work together.
- Responsibilities What the landlord delivers and what the tenant has to arrange, as a basis for the IT Demarcation List.
Fee
An IT-Label pre-inspection costs € 750 excl. VAT per location. That includes the site visit and the indicative report. If you then proceed to certification, the partner uses the findings to define the scope of the audit.
