IT-Label Smart Control

An examination and continuous monitoring of your IT, from the connection to the workplace. You see where the kink is, what it costs and where you can take control.

Your IT determines how well your people work

A meeting that stutters, a slow connection or a network that drops out for a moment. Each time, your employees lose a few minutes. Over a year and a whole team, that adds up to a lot of time and money.

A pre-inspection or audit shows how the building is doing at one moment. Smart Control goes further. A Certified Partner examines the whole chain, from the connection to the workplace and how it is used. After that, Smart Control Monitoring keeps a continuous eye on whether it stays that way, so you can step in before tenants or employees are affected.

The pyramid: from connection to usage

Each layer rests on the layer below it. If there is a kink in the cable at the bottom, your employees notice it at the top. Click on a layer for the explanation.

From the base to the top: connection, infrastructure, network, workplace and usage.

Layer 1 of 5

Connection

The connection and the provider: the type of connection, the speed at the busiest moment, the route to your cloud services, a backup connection and the repair time in your contract.

A kink here: one connection with no backup. During an outage, nobody can work.

See where the risk is, before things go wrong

Each point from the pre-inspection and the examination is a building block of the pyramid. You see what we have found, what we will soon measure continuously, where it is in the building and what is needed.

From the bottom to the top: layer 1 Connection (5 blocks), layer 2 Building infrastructure (4), layer 3 Network and security (3), layer 4 Workplace and IoT (2), layer 5 Usage and productivity (1). The pre-inspection covers 9 of the 15 blocks. Smart Control Monitoring is coming soon: the "Monitoring" view shows what we will soon measure continuously.

Orange is your early warning

In order

The block supports what is above it. No action needed, but keep an eye on it as you grow.

Early signal

Nothing is going wrong yet, but the block is weak. This is where you prevent problems, at the lowest cost. Example: the backup connection (1.3) has to be switched on by hand.

Risk

Things are already going wrong, and everything above it notices. Example: the old WiFi (3.2) makes video calls stutter (4.2) and costs working time (5.1).

Without Smart Control, a business only sees the top: complaints and lost time. With Smart Control, it sees the cause underneath, and the weak blocks that do not cause outages yet. This way you deal with the kink first, and you fix the orange blocks before they turn red.

From IT to value

Why this determines the value of your business and property

01

IT infrastructure

What the building owner provides, and the company's own IT.

02

Workplace

Fast, stable and secure working, anywhere in the building.

03

Satisfied tenants and employees

Fewer complaints, lower staff turnover, longer leases.

04

Productivity

Less lost time and better results.

05

Value of business and property

A business that runs better, and a building that is easier to let.

Who it is for

Directors and managers

In one overview, you see where the risk to your business is, what it costs and what is needed. No technical knowledge required.

Building owners and landlords

The IT infrastructure of your building is something you provide to your tenants. With Smart Control, you monitor what you provide, and you step in before a tenant is affected. That keeps tenants satisfied and your property valuable.

Businesses and tenants

You know why your IT does not do what you expect, and where your investment delivers the most.

Property and asset managers

You see for each building whether the IT lets the tenants work well. That helps with satisfied tenants, letting and investments.

Technical and facility managers

You receive a list of priorities: what must happen now, what within a year, and what can wait. Useful for maintenance and budgets.

Workplace administrators

You receive measurements for each workplace and each meeting room. This way you can back up complaints and see whether a solution works.

Operators

For business centres and flexible offices, the workplace is the product. You show that it works, with a dated statement and a score per layer.

Start, Monitoring and service desk

Smart Control Start

The examination on site and a baseline measurement, based on the pre-inspection. You receive the pyramid, the kink, the loss per year and advice in order of priority.

Smart Control Monitoring

Coming soon. After that, we monitor the blocks continuously. If a block turns orange or red, the right person receives an alert, so you can step in on time.

Service desk for outages

As an option, the Certified Partner can add a service desk, for help with emergencies and outages. This is tailored to you, in consultation with you.

The process

How Smart Control works

01

Request and quote

You fill in the form at the bottom of this page. A Certified Partner discusses with you what you want to know and sends a tailored quote.

02

Pre-inspection and interviews

The pre-inspection lays the foundation. This is followed by interviews with management and IT management, and a short, anonymous questionnaire for employees.

03

Examination and baseline measurement

The partner examines the five layers on site and takes measurements at the desks and in the meeting rooms.

04

Report and advice

You receive the pyramid with a colour per building block, the location of the kink, the loss per year and advice in the right order.

05

Monitoring

Coming soon. After that, we monitor the blocks continuously, with an alert when something changes.

What you receive

  • The pyramid. Green, orange or red per building block, so you can see at a glance how your IT is doing.
  • The kink. The lowest red block. It limits everything above it, so that is where the advice starts. Orange blocks are an early signal.
  • The loss per year. A cautious estimate with a range. You see exactly how we arrive at the amount.
  • Advice in order of priority. What comes first, what comes next, and what it delivers. Without brands or suppliers.

Independent advice

The advice does not name any brands or suppliers. You choose who carries out the improvements. That can be the Certified Partner, but it does not have to be. We measure the network, not the people: the questionnaire is anonymous.

Fee

Smart Control is a tailored service. For Start, you receive a quote in advance. Monitoring will be a fixed amount per month per location. You agree on a service desk for outages separately with the Certified Partner.
