What is digital due diligence?
In a real estate transaction, structural, legal and financial aspects are examined thoroughly. The digital infrastructure often stays out of view, even though it weighs ever more heavily in the value and lettability of a building.
Digital due diligence fills that gap. A Certified Partner examines the connections, the cabling, the network infrastructure, the building systems and the contracts that go with them. The result is an advisory report that describes what is there, what it is worth, which risks exist and what an upgrade to a higher delivery level requires.

Quotation and scope
A Certified Partner agrees which locations and components are examined and how deeply, and sends a quotation.
Research
The partner examines the building on site, assesses documentation and contracts and measures the actual performance where needed.
Advisory report
You receive a report with findings, risks, an indication of the delivery level and recommendations with a cost indication.
Which questions does the report answer?
- What is there? Connections, cabling, network equipment, technical rooms, WiFi and building systems, with their condition and age.
- How does it perform? Measured throughput, latency, redundancy and coverage, set against what the intended users need.
- Which risks are there? Outdated components, one-sided dependence on a single provider, security risks and contractual bottlenecks.
- What does an upgrade cost? What is needed to reach a higher delivery level, with an indication of investment and lead time.
- Who is responsible for what? The division between owner, tenant and suppliers, as a basis for the IT Demarcation List after the transaction.
Fee
Digital due diligence is tailored work. The fee depends on the size of the building, the number of locations and the desired depth of the research. After your request, you will receive a quotation within a few working days from a Certified Partner, exclusive of VAT.
