13 October 2026. The independent IT-Label knowledge collective will attend IT Infra 2026 on Wednesday 25 November. This event for professionals working on the infrastructure of data centres, server rooms and other business-critical IT environments takes place at the 1931 Congrescentrum in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. It is the twentieth edition.
Why IT-Label is at IT Infra
IT Infra is about what is inside the server room: racks, cooling, power supply, cabling and security. IT-Label looks at the building around it. Is there a suitable room, who can get in, how does the fibre enter the building and is the cabling in order? Those two worlds belong together. The best equipment only works well in a building that is ready for it.
There are four reasons why the knowledge collective is attending this year.
- Physical security is on the agenda. The Dutch Cybersecurity Act and the Cyber Resilience Act also require protection of the physical environment of networks and systems. Several talks at IT Infra address this, such as "NIS2 & CRA: which physical measures have you already taken?" and "Who can actually reach your server rack?". These are exactly the questions an IT-Label inspection asks of a building.
- Current events show that the building is vulnerable. In October, the refrigeration systems of hundreds of supermarkets in France were taken over remotely, and Albert Heijn faced a cybersecurity incident. We wrote about this in from cold store to server room. Installations in a building have become part of the digital infrastructure.
- Fibre and energy are becoming scarcer. The talks on fibre, cooling and the energy system match what we see in real estate. Fibre is more expensive and slower to obtain, as we described in fibre is getting more expensive. The power grid is full in large parts of the country. That makes it all the more important to know in advance what a building can handle digitally.
- Sharing knowledge. The knowledge collective brings together people from real estate and IT. Installers, suppliers and server room managers attend IT Infra. Their practical knowledge helps keep the IT-Label sharp.
The server room and the building are often looked at separately. In practice, the building largely determines what is possible in that room.
"Anyone setting up a server room looks at racks, cooling and power," says the Board of IT-Label. "But whether that room is locked, how the fibre comes in and who has access is determined by the building. That is what the IT-Label aims to make clear. For us, IT Infra is the place to discuss this with the people who work with it every day."

About IT-Label
The IT-Label shows what a building can handle digitally. It assesses connectivity, infrastructure, Smart Building and next-generation facilities, and translates this into a delivery level from PREMIUM to SHELL. Inspections are carried out by independent Certified Partners. The knowledge collective brings together the expertise of real estate and IT professionals. Would you like to carry out inspections yourself? Read how to become a Certified Partner.
