Get started quickly without renovating first
IT2 PLUG & PLAY stands for 60 to 74 points. The building is connected, cabled and equipped with working WiFi. An organisation can connect its equipment and get to work, without first going through an infrastructure project.
For many organisations this is the practical optimum: the foundation is in order and there is no need for a large investment of their own, while there remains room to optimise in a targeted way wherever their own operations call for it.

Fibre optic connection
The building is connected to fibre optic, with capacity that is more than sufficient for most organisations.

The difference with IT1 HIGH PERFORMANCE is usually in redundancy, WiFi capacity and the integration of building systems. For organisations that rely heavily on video conferencing, large data files or continuously available systems, these can be noticeable points.
Those who want to know which steps are needed to grow further can have this assessed during the audit. After an upgrade, recertification can take place.
What does this mean for the user?
Delivery level: strong digital foundation. The user is quickly operational; limited fit-out of their own is needed. Who does what can differ per building and lease agreement and is recorded in the IT Demarcation List. Read more about responsibilities.

The IT-Label classifications
The IT-Label has six classifications. Each level describes a different digital delivery level and what that means for the user.
IT1 HIGH PERFORMANCE
IT1 HIGH PERFORMANCE: fibre optic, CAT6A/CAT6 cabling, strong WiFi coverage and high stability. Only limited optimisations are still desirable.
IT3 READY
IT3 READY offers basic cabling and limited WiFi. Additional investment is desirable for professional use, but the building is prepared for it.
How does the IT-Label work?
An independent audit assesses both the physical infrastructure and the actual performance. The certificate is then valid for two years.
